The Clinton Hill Apartment Owners Corporation (also known as “Clinton Hill Co-ops”) are comprised of 12 medium-rise elevator buildings on two campuses in the heart of the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn. Clinton Hill Co-ops are an integral part of this dynamic neighborhood.
The seven buildings of the north campus are bounded by Myrtle, Willoughby, Clinton and Waverly Avenues. The five buildings of the south campus are located just south of the north campus bounded by Lafayette, Green, Clinton and Waverly Avenues.
Both campuses, which are beautifully landscaped and maintained, are home to a diverse mix of residents that mirror the vibrancy of the neighborhood at large.
Clinton Hill/Fort Greene carries with it a rich history, magnificent architecture, old-world Brooklyn mansions, a thriving arts community, public and private schools and colleges, renowned dining locales and much more!
Public transportation is within easy access but much of what one needs for services is within easy walking distance from either campus.
Fort Greene park is within close proximity to Clinton Hill Co-op and is the home to various recreational and social activities including a year-round farmers market, tennis courts, and a daily group of avid dog owners that gather in the park every morning to socialize and let their dogs run and play.
Both campuses offer 24-hour security, recently upgraded laundry facilities on-site, and a full maintenance staff.
An elected co-op board of 17 (nine shareholder resident seats and eight sponsor seats) oversees operations including budgeting, maintenance and continual upgrading of the complex. Clinton Hill Co-op is now home to a groundbreaking energy initiative known as co-generation. This new technology is helping to reduce electricity costs of residents, as well as decrease pollution significantly. Other projects currently being launched are lobby renovations, elevator improvements, installation of bike storage facilities among other projects.
Studios, one and two bedroom apartments are available for purchase through both shareholder and sponsor sales.
